What Is Makai Ocean Club?

Welcome to Makai Ocean Club, a South Bay swim program built to grow with every athlete, from their first introduction to the water to competitive swimming and the open ocean.

Our swim school builds strong foundations through personalized instruction focused on water safety, confidence, stroke development, and proper technique, creating a pathway for continued growth.

Makai Swim Team is where that progression becomes competitive. Through structured training and swim meets, athletes refine technique, build endurance and speed, develop race strategy, and learn to train and race with purpose. From chasing tenths in the pool to competing beyond the break, our swimmers are challenged to become stronger, more capable athletes.

Principles of sport and performance psychology are woven throughout Makai, developing confidence, focus, resilience, mental toughness, and the ability to perform under pressure.🤙
